ABOUT

Originally from New Jersey where her fascination with hip hop, pop, reggae and dancehall music grew, Mzs, Stiletto A.K.A. Stephy La Guerra first began her career in the music industry as a dancer/choreographer. After years of working with artists, she decided that it was time for her to step out at the apex of the cameras and take the spotlight. Having first attempted a shot as a hip hop artist, she felt that she needed some sort of a transition that was more relatable to her hip hop style combined with a Latin flare. She is not only and heavily influenced by hip hop artists in the likes of Lauryn Hill, DMX, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot, Lil' Kim, Salt n' Pepa, Queen Latifah, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Notorious BIG, but also Latin artists such as Celia Cruz, Aventura, Daddy Yankee, Tego Calderon, Don Omar, El General and the woman she considers to be the Queen of Latin hip hop, Ivy Queen, who all have a huge impact on her music until this day

With the intention to bring a sound that was able to combine the styles of American Hip Hop, Dancehall and Reggaeton into one huge and dynamic music art form to leave a long-lasting impression on the industry, in 2017, she released her first mixtape titled 81616 which featured some of the most talented hip hop artists in Miami who to her, has accepted her in the most amazing way and with open arms. The release of 81616 also lead her to be highly recognized in the underground scene and lead her to win Miami’s best underground female hip hop artist 3 times in a row.

In 2017, Mzs. Stiletto became a mom to a beautiful little girl by the name of Xelda XO. Becoming a mom allowed for her to grow more of a confidence, drive and ambition that she felt she needed more of. Additionally, she wanted to tap into another music side of her that her listeners would be surprised by. She decided to challenge her song writing ability with the formation of a compilation of Latin crossover singles. With the support of her family, friends and most importantly FANS, she was able to bring a new sound to her music while at the same time staying true to her strong, female empowered movement.

One thing that Mzs. Stiletto has always felt strongly about, especially after becoming a mom, is never losing herself because it can very easily happen and as a strong, independent and ambitious artist, she wants to set an example for women everywhere and show that they too can do it all. She calls her female fanbase Las Rebeldes which stands for the use of strength, sisterhood and pursuit in order
to reach success.

“After motherhood, we may feel lost, uncertain, insecure and I just want mothers out there to know that they are not alone. It happens to the best of us, even to me. But it’s how we choose to overcome the challenges women are faced with on a daily and consistent basis that make us stronger. I think women should use their children as an inspiration to pursue whatever dream or goal they may have for we can accomplish anything we set our minds to. We are women, we are strong, we bold, we are Las Rebeldes.”

Her hopes and dreams are not to compete, much rather influence individuals to not give up on their dreams no matter how many one might have and in an industry filled with male dominance, Mzs. Stiletto has no problem with being up for the challenge.
